Hi there! I'm Kasey Barrett, the Head Swim Coach for the Great Northwest Gators. With over 7 years of experience coaching swimming and 17 years of expertise in aquatics, I'm passionate about helping athletes achieve their full potential in the water.
I hold a Master's degree in Recreation Management from Clemson University, where I honed my skills in coaching, leadership, and program development. My love for swimming started at a young age and has been a driving force in my career. As a coach, I prioritize creating a positive and inclusive team culture that fosters growth, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.
Throughout my coaching career, I've had the privilege of working with swimmers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes. I believe in a holistic approach to coaching, emphasizing technique, strength, endurance, and mental preparedness. I'm committed to providing personalized training plans and feedback to help swimmers reach their goals and excel in the sport.
I'm excited to lead the Great Northwest Gators and inspire our team to achieve excellence both in and out of the pool. Go Gators!
